Penryn Preschool hosted its annual Christmas Concert on Saturday evening, delivering a spirited celebration of community, creativity and the true meaning of Christmas. Families gathered in anticipation as the Preschoolers, some as young as two years old, took to the stage, charming the audience with their singing, dancing and expressive storytelling.

A highlight of the evening was a special narration by Yuki Manjate, Miss Mpumalanga Runner-Up, who captivated the crowd with her graceful reading of the Christmas story. She shared the story of the birth of Baby Jesus and the deeper message behind why we believe in a Higher Love, setting a reverent and inspiring tone for the performance.

A preschool production of this magnitude requires nearly four weeks of dedicated practice and the commitment of both staff and scholars was evident in every moment on stage. From the confident performers to the seamless scene transitions, the effort invested behind the scenes shone through clearly.

The concert was conceptualised, directed and lovingly brought to life by Mrs Nicole Meyer, Head of Preschool, together with her entire Preschool staff. Their meticulous planning, creativity and passion ensured that every child had a meaningful role and an opportunity to shine.

Parents and guests praised the event for its warmth, inclusivity and the charming authenticity unique to early childhood performances. The concert once again highlighted Penryn Preschool’s commitment to fostering confidence, joy and a strong sense of belonging in every child.

In a touching final sentiment, staff and parents alike echoed the school’s prayer, that the Class of 2025 will continue to soar on eagles’ wings and not grow weary.
